There are a few standard sizes for ATM/ITM receipt rolls. These vary by the make/model of your ATM (see make/model options below). 

The standard widths for most ATM/ITM rolls will be 3.15″ (80mm) or 2.36″ (60mm). 

The standard lengths from most ATM/ITM rolls will be from 164′ (50m) to 2,700′ (823m).

Core sizes vary from .5″  to 2″.

 Two-sided (or dual-sided) thermal rolls were discontinued by the paper mills in 2022. Consider using items 856526, 856597S or 9093-2476-A as replacements. Your ATM/ITM should recognize and adjust to single sided printing upon loading the paper through sensors.

We always refer you to the user manual but general steps include:

1. Open the printer compartment
2. Remove the used core
3. Confirm the correct orientation of the paper (locate the thermal side)
4. Insert the new roll
5. Feed the paper through the printer
6. Close the lid
7. Optional: Spray the compartment with compressed air (CA-10) and consider cleaning the print head (K2-WIT100). Paper rolls will create small paper particles in the equipment over time. If you skip routine cleanings, you can experience paper jams. 

You do not need to use branded paper rolls in your ATM. BFS rolls are certified and produced in the US.

You should use certified ATM paper rolls. Below are risks of using uncertified paper:

• Create paper jams
• Void manufacturer warranty (by model)
• May contain BPA or BPS
• Reduce lifespan of the ATM due to poor quality coating
• Increase cost selling thinner paper and slightly shorter rolls

ATM/ITM rolls should be stored:

• In a cool, dry place (59°-75°F)
• Away from direct sunlight and humidity
• In the original box or sealed packaging until ready to use

Thermal rolls stored properly should last 2-5 years. After this period, the rolls might begin to yellow.

CSI = Coated Side In

CSO = Coated Side Out

When referring to the coating, we are referencing the thermal coating which is the side of the paper the receipt prints. You can identify the coated side by the shiny finish.

Always check your user manual if this is not clear. While CSI is very common for ATM rolls, CSO is used in some Hyosung ATMs and others models.
